There is nothing quite like the smile of a child when they are at their happiest. For children who are into sailing, this usually comes about for a number of factors. One if they are competitive and winning the race, or secondly if they are simply content being warm, comfortable and dry whilst they are on the water. During winter months the former may be influenced by the latter. At Hammond we cannot guarantee success on the water, however we have worked hard for over 35 years to make sure our drysuits and the associated equipment we sell will keep the wearer warm throughout the year.
The ProSail Children’s Drysuit is designed specifically for children who dinghy sail; available in standard sizes Jnr S, Jnr M and Jnr L, or made-to-measure. The suits are made of N100 tri-laminate, which is a light and extremely strong material, so will last the activities on the water and playing around before and after. As a made-to-measure suit, the wearer can have the upper part of the drysuit as 3 ply breathable fabric with N100 tri-laminate fabric on the legs. The breathable fabric is more comfortable in warmer conditions.
The suit has been designed in a way that as the child grows, the suit can be returned to Hammond and for a small charge extra material can be added saving parents the cost of investing in a completely new suit.
Made-to-measure are available in red/black, yellow/black, blue/black or all black, starting from £385.00.
Standard sizes are available in red/black and yellow/black and start from £345.00.
The ProSail drysuit is also available for adults. A 4 point detachable and adjustable brace system can be fitted as an optional upgrade. This enables the wearer to remove the top of the drysuit when needed and whilst preventing damage to the suit.
Hammond Drysuits will be exhibiting at the RYA Dinghy Show 2016 in Alexandra Palace, where the range of both child and adult drysuits from Hammond will be available to see on stand F38.
